After a year focused largely on planning and project preparation, 2027 will bring significant construction activity to River Point District. Several major projects will move forward in the spring: a new 165- to 180-unit senior housing development on Lot 6 by MSP, the developer of The Driftless; a 42-unit townhome project on Lots 1 and 2 by UnWind Development; an 18-unit condominium project on Lots 3 and 4 by Red Earth LLC; Cowboy Jack’s restaurant on Lots 11 and 12; and the adjacent “The Eleven” project, a 60-unit mixed-use development on Lot 11 by RyKey Properties.

Plans are also expected for a two-building, two-phase development of mixed housing and commercial space by 360 Real Estate on Outlot 5 and Lot 13, near the corner of Copeland Avenue and River Bend Drive. As these projects advance, only a limited number of undeveloped sites will remain in River Point District. The District will include approximately 1,200 housing units and bring more than $400 million in new investment to the city at full build-out.
