River Point District Keeps Growing

2026 marked another important year of growth in River Point District, with two new developments completed and occupied. War Eagle, a 59-unit architecturally distinctive building along the Black River, includes 12,000 square feet of commercial space and outdoor amenities, such as programmable rooftop decks. The Lofts at River Point, located at the corner of River Point Court and River Bend Drive, adds 56 modern residential units and 2,500 square feet of commercial space, creating a prominent and visually striking presence from Copeland Avenue. Both buildings are nearly fully occupied after only a few months of operation. Developers have reported strong lease-up activity and a healthy mix of young professionals, empty nesters, young families, and graduate students. They view their positive working relationship with the City as pivotal to this smooth development process.
